Sharon Li is the Managing Partner of the firm.. She graduated from Jiao Tong University
in 1983 and received further education from Shanghai University
Law School, Fudan University and Shanghai University of Technology.
She obtained her qualification in 1988. She is a licensed
patent lawyer and company registration lawyer, and also qualified
to practice securities law. She practiced law at Shanghai
No. 1 Law Firm and Bei Lin Law Firm before joining Wyselead.
Her focus of practice is on general corporate law, foreign
direct investment, mergers and acquisitions, securities, IPOs,
intellectual property, real estate, construction and international
trade.

Shuliang Wang
is a senior consultant of the firm. He obtained his LL.B from
East China University of Political Science and Law in 1984
and LL.M. from Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences in 1987.
He received further legal training from University of Washington
in St. Louis, U.S.A. His focus of practice is on general corporate
law, contract law, real estate, security law, aviation torts,
foreign direct investment, employment and civil litigation
and arbitration. He is also an associate research fellow of
the Law Institute of Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences.

David
Jianping Cheng a partner of the firm. He
obtained his LL.B from Shanghai Maritime Institute in 1983
and LL.M. from Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences in 1989.
He received further legal training from University of Toronto
Law School. He worked for the Bank of Communications and China
Pacific Insurance Company in New York, Stephenson Harwood
& Lo and Allen & Overy in Hong Kong and the China
Headquarters of APP in Shanghai before joining Wyselead. He
is specialized in general corporate work, foreign direct investment,
banking, insurance, capital market, real estate transactions,
project finance and transportation.

Bin He is a partner
of the firm. He obtained his LL.B and LL.M from Fudan University
in 1991 and 1999, respectively. He received further legal
education from SOAS Institute in London and had his placement
with the London and Hong Kong offices of a major UK solicitors’
firm and barristers’ chambers in London. He obtained his qualification
in China in 1994. He is specialized in general corporate law,
foreign direct investment, mergers and acquisitions, franchising,
venture capital, e-commerce, intellectual property, and civil
and commercial litigation and arbitration.

Hongliang Liu
is a partner of the firm. He obtained his LL.B from Shanghai
University Law School in 1992 and LL.M from Macquarie University
in Australia in 1997. He became qualified in China in 1992.
He practiced at Li Guo Ji Law Firm in Shanghai and Hunt &
Hunt, an Australian firm, before he joined Wyselead in 2001.
He was listed as a leading lawyer by Asia Law & Practice
in 2001. He is specialized in general corporate law, foreign
direct investment, public listings, international trade, technology
transfer and aviation torts. He also possesses securities
law qualification certificate.

Bill Shouyun Tong
is a senior consultant of the firm. He was formerly a legislative
official of the PRC National People's Congress. He obtained
his Juris Doctor degree in 1990 and became qualified in the
United States in 1991. Following his qualifications in the U.S., He practiced with a U.S. firm in the
United States for five years. He thereafter spent six years with Allen & Overy, the last
three years as the head of Allen & Overy's Beijing Office.
He has extensive experience in foreign direct investment,
mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, infrastructure
projects, employment, property, dispute resolution and regulatory
matters.

Luca Maina is a senior consultant of the firm. He has experience in many different legal fields. He started practicing as a lawyer in Italy in the litigation area handling complex judicial disputes regarding contracts, torts and labour. Subsequently, he worked as an in-house counsel of a major Italian company, and he widened his experience in corporate law, licensing and distribution matters, as well as international transactions focused on outsourcing projects (Middle East area), and acquisitions of state owned enterprises in East Europe. In 1996 he joined Brosio, Casati e Associati, a major Italian law firm which was merged with Allen & Overy in 1998. Since then, he has been focusing on foreign investment projects in China, where he served as Chief Representative of Brosio, Casati e Associati – Beijing Office for almost five years. He has substantial experience in China related matters, including foreign direct investment, M&A, intellectual property, labour and tax.
